What books, audio, video, or other media about “how cohousing works” do you hold in high esteem?
I don’t mean “how Nyland works”, but rather works that have collected and synthesized experiences across many communities.
I’m especially excited by clarity of principles, practices, and justifications; I’m also interested in reading anything Nylanders have previously relied on as a group.
Hi Matt. I think the Rochdale Principles are a good high level overview of some of the rationale behind cooperative ventures, which I believe includes cohousing. One of the neat things about these principles is that they were laid out in 1844 and are still relevant today.
I’m curious to see if there are any other “clarity of principles, practices, and justifications” you found that you can share.
